OrionStar GreetingBot Mini is an intelligent reception robot and customer service robot designed to take over repetitive front-of-house interactions. It can detect approaching visitors, greet them proactively, communicate in 30+ languages, present information on its 14-inch Full HD screen and autonomously guide guests to predefined locations. This makes GreetingBot Mini useful as a robot receptionist for hotels, offices, hospitals, showrooms, exhibitions, restaurants and retail spaces.
The robot can be configured around the needs of a specific organisation. Company information, visitor guidance, promotional content and customised interaction scenarios can be incorporated into the experience, while OrionStar's open development platform supports further modification of voice, visual and movement functions. In Promotion Mode, the AI reception robot can remain at a fixed location or move around the venue, attract attention and display advertising when visitors approach.
GreetingBot Mini combines LiDAR and a depth camera for autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance and close-following. Its compact 410 × 410 mm footprint allows it to pass through spaces as narrow as 55 cm, while a six-microphone array provides 360° sound-source positioning and reliable speech recognition even in noisy environments. With up to 12 hours of typical cruising time and automatic return to charging when the battery falls below 10%, this service robot for reception areas can support visitors throughout the working day with limited staff involvement.
