Privacy & your choices.
This notice explains how the Reef Robotics showroom handles enquiries, browser storage and optional analytics. Contact us at sales@reef-robotics.io with questions or privacy requests.
Your enquiries
When you ask for a callback or email, including through the “Let’s talk” button, we send the details you submit, your chosen contact method, the enquiry’s page, the collection or robot you were viewing and any selected robots to Forminit. Forminit stores your request and can notify our team by email, Slack and Discord. We use this information to respond to your request and discuss the products you asked about. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing and does not require analytics consent.
The “Send an email” option opens your own email application. It does not submit a form to Forminit, and you decide whether to send the message.
Essential browser storage
Your robot selection is saved in this browser so it remains available between visits. We also remember your privacy choice for up to 180 days. These functions are separate from optional analytics. Clearing your browser’s storage removes these preferences.
Optional analytics and recordings
Only after you accept analytics, we use PostHog’s EU service to collect page visits, clicks, scrolling, approximate robot and section visibility time, device and browser information, performance and errors. A browser identifier can connect returning visits in this browser. Masked session recordings help us understand how the showroom is used.
Contact fields are masked in recordings. We exclude contact-form request bodies and raw contact details from analytics. If analytics is accepted when you submit an enquiry, a reference can connect that enquiry to this browser’s activity. Visibility is an estimate of on-screen exposure, not a measurement of eye movement. We do not automatically recognise the same person across devices.
Declining analytics stops this optional collection. We do not replace it with cookieless identification or fingerprinting. You can withdraw consent through Privacy settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future tracking; it does not automatically erase data already received. Contact us if you would like that data deleted.
Remembering a phone number
If you accept analytics and separately choose “Remember my number on this device”, your successfully submitted callback number is stored in this browser for up to 30 days. It is used to prefill the callback form. Do not enable this on a shared device. You can forget the number in Privacy settings; declining analytics also removes the saved number. Removing this local copy does not cancel an enquiry already sent.
Services, retention and your rights
GitHub Pages delivers this website. Forminit processes submitted enquiries, and PostHog processes optional analytics in its EU region. These providers also process information necessary to deliver and secure their services under their own terms and data-processing arrangements.
Enquiry and analytics retention depends on the configured provider accounts. We use the data for the purposes described here and restrict access to people who need it. Contact us to ask about retention or request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or to object to processing where applicable. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
