A compact 26-DoF humanoid robot built for movement, interaction and attention.
Unitree R1 is a lightweight humanoid robot combining agile full-body movement with voice and visual interaction. With 26 degrees of freedom, a moving head and waist, binocular vision and an integrated multimodal AI model, it is an eye-catching platform for events, demonstrations, exhibitions and interactive experiences.

Unitree R1 Basic is a compact humanoid robot standing 123 cm tall and weighing approximately 29 kg. Its 26 degrees of freedom include five joints in each arm, six in each leg, two in the waist and two in the head, giving the robot significantly more natural movement than the entry-level R1 Air. A binocular camera, four-microphone array and speaker support visual and voice interaction, while Unitree integrates a multimodal model for speech and image processing.
The R1 humanoid robot is well suited to events, exhibitions, technology demonstrations, entertainment and promotional applications where movement and human interaction attract attention. It includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an 8-core processor and a quick-release battery providing approximately one hour of operation. R1 Basic sits between the simpler R1 Air and the development-focused R1 EDU: it gains additional joints, head and waist movement and binocular vision, but does not include the EDU model's secondary-development support, optional dexterous hands or high-power computing modules.
Runtime and performance depend on the space and operating conditions.

Unitree specifies approximately 1 hour of operation per battery. Actual runtime may vary depending on movement, activity level and how the robot is being used.
Yes. The R1 uses an easy-to-replace quick-release battery, so for events, demonstrations or longer operating sessions, we recommend having additional batteries available. Swapping batteries allows the robot to return to operation quickly without waiting for the previous battery to recharge.
